For this release the Arkeyn Steel Records team explores some truly uncharted waters of the 90s US prog metal underground, presenting the unreleased LP-Tape of TWIST OF FATE from Akron, Ohio.<\/strong><\/p>\n

TWIST OF FATE was started around the summer of 1994. The founding members were, Tim \u201cRipper\u201d Owens – vocals, Nick Giannakos – guitars, Dennis Hayes \u2013 bass, Jeff Curenton – drums. There was a four song demo recorded with this line-up. Shortly after the release of the demo, in 1995, Tim Owens was replaced with Greg Wagner on vocals and a six song demo was recorded and released in 1996 using some of the same songs from the first demo.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In 1997 the band changed singers again, adding vocalist John Stafford. At this time 12 more songs were recorded (compositions from the previous demos and several new ones). This could have been the band’s debut album but for many reasons those recordings were never released to the public.<\/strong><\/p>\n

With the help of guitarist Nick Giannakos, the Arkeyn Steel Records team brings those recordings back to light, presenting them as an official release, filling an important gap in the history of the band.<\/strong><\/p>\n

On those recordings TWIST OF FATE presents a remarkable level of songwriting, combining their melodic progressive metal with heavy and power metal elements.<\/strong><\/p>\n

All the material has been remastered from scratch for the best audio experience, by Kostas Scandalis at Infinity Studio (Thessaloniki, Greece). A complete set of lyrics is included plus lots of never before seen photos and a band’s bio written by Nick Giannakos himself.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In 1998 and after some more line-up changes the band released their same titled private CD. They disbanded back in the year 2000.<\/strong><\/p>\n

These recordings mark the band’s golden era: they are great examples of talent, power and passion. Everyone deserves to discover them. Now is your chance through this release!<\/strong><\/p>\n
