“Electric Stardom” is the third album of the Greek guitar virtuoso and songwriter, Costas Varras, featuring the excellent voices of Mark Boals (Yngwie Malmsteen, Ring of Fire etc) and Goran Edman (Yngwie Malmsteen, John Norum, Brazen Abbot, Time Requiem, Madison etc).<\/strong><\/p>\n

Varras is the solo project of the Greek guitar virtuoso and “Electric Stardom” is a piece of neoclassical mastery that can easily be described as the biggest step in the musician’s career so far.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In 1999 Costas Varras formed his first band: Perpetual. In 2004 Perpetual released one of the most important albums in the Greek Neoclassical Metal scene: “Overlord’s Perpetual”. In 2006 Costas Varras moved to Hollywood, California and in 2008 he graduated from Musicians Institute, reforming his band in L.A. In 2009 he traveled to Kent, England, to record an album with Chris Tsangarides, unfortunately, this album was never released. In 2017, he entered the studio of Bob Katsionis, and together they recorded the album “Neon-Classical” that was released one year later under the musician’s name: Costas Varras. The “Rock You Hard” single release followed in 2020 featuring Mark Boals on vocals.<\/strong><\/p>\n

All those years of hard work, experience, and co-operation are reflected in “Electric Stardom”. Varras is simply delivering a piece of neoclassical heaven presenting his best compositions so far. Power, melody, and emotion are combined on a brilliant album that is already getting huge reviews from the international press, as it was digitally released on Lion Music. Steel Gallery Records releases the album on CD, featuring an exclusive bonus track: “Palisha”, a baroque, acoustic ballad featuring the vocals of the mighty Mark Boals. Bob Katsionis also adds his keyboard magic to the album, working one more time with Costas Varras.<\/strong><\/p>\n

So, get ready for an experience of absolute neoclassical greatness as it is captured on masterpieces like “The Tears of the World”, “Electric Stardom” and “Concerto in G Minor RV 578”.<\/strong><\/p>\n
