Hailing from Chicago, Illinois, DAMIEN THORNE was a band that needs no further introduction to the initiated metal fan of 80’s metal music. Having released the immortal classic “The Sign of the Jackal” back in 1986, they gained a permanent spot in the best 80’s metal bands from the United States and it was about it for that classic release to be available again.
With the valuable assistance of our friend and collaborator Laurent Ramadier, editor and publisher of SNAKEPIT magazine, we came in touch with Ken Mandat, founder, main writer and guitar player of the band, and agreed to present the ultimate edition of his ’86 classic album, featuring remastered sound, liner notes, photos, lyrics and bonus songs in a limited edition CD & Vinyl release that must not be missed.
Scheduled for a late 2026 release, this is definitely going to be among the top reissues of the year, so be prepared!
This edition is limited to 300 copies, features remastered sound and 16 page booklet with photos, lyrics and band story.
