Heavy/Power Metallers FORBIDDEN SEED return with their fourth full-length album “In Shadows Deep – Shadow Of The Crow Pt. II.” This is the second and final part of the band’s concept that follows the storyline of “The Crow” movie, a concept that started on the previous album “On Blackest Wings, Shadow of the Crow Pt. I.”
The new album’s music highlights a unique combination of guitar-driven Heavy and Power Metal inspired by classic ’90s–’00s bands like Iced Earth, Savatage, Evergrey and Morgana Lefay, presented with a fresh and powerful sound that captures the vibe of the modern era.
On their new album, FORBIDDEN SEED have managed to take the overall production to the very next level, delivering a solid, clear and heavy sound that does justice to their musical vision. The album is mixed and mastered by Kosta Vreto, who also performs an amazing guitar solo on the track “I Don’t Want It Anymore.”
Darkly shaded, melodic and powerful, the band’s new album can be described as their most complex release so far, featuring a unique, mysterious atmosphere: a strange musical journey that will guide the listener straight to worlds hidden behind the night skies.
