Review at FORGOTTEN SCROLL webzine

The fifth chapter of a journey filled with wonders. A threshold between darkness and light, a shifting passage between the fall of night and the first touch of dawn — or simply the most enigmatic and diverse album in the history of Horizon’s End.

“Designs in Sadness” lets its darker shades unfold, piece by piece, weaving a soundscape rich in contrasts and constant transformation.

Here, emotion is not the destination of each song, but its guiding force, leading us through paths that explore the similarities and differences between shadows and rays of light.

Stepping fully into an era of absolute progressive metal maturity, Horizon’s End generously offer us an album filled with twists and turns, an album that invites us to delve deeper and discover its many hidden facets.

Within a universe upturned, through dark nights and darker days, the broken men are searching for euphoria…

For fans of: MANOS HATZIDAKIS, SHADOW GALLERY, LEVIATHAN, DREAM THEATER, FATES WARNING, POWER OF OMENS, ICE AGE, LOST ON THOUGHT!
