WRETCH needs no introduction: One of the most remarkable bands of the Ohio metal scene, delivering high class steel since the early 80s. All their 80s demo releases are marked as US Metal classics. The band’s first era closed with one of their trademark songs entitled “Life” appeared on the cult “Heavy Artillery” compilation on Auburn Records back in 1990, one year later they disbanded.
Their reunion back in 2003 brought us some really great full length albums, featuring the characteristic guitar playing of Greek Nick Giannakos, key member both of WRETCH and of the Ohio metal scene in general, as he has played with many important bands, including DESTRUCTOR, BREAKER and TWIST OF FATE.
On 2016 the mighty Juan Ricardo (ATTAXE, RITUAL, CHEMIKILL, SUNLESS SKY, BLIND CROSS, DARK ARENA, STRYKER etc.) joined forces with the band and his amazing vocal performance has become a serious trademark of their music since then.
“Visitors” full length showcases the absolute power of a classic US Metal band. The amazing riffing, the blazing leads and the greater than great vocals are making this album an absolute must for all the US Heavy / Power Metal fanatics out there!
