There are some releases that through the years have managed to reach a mythical status. “Deliver this Dream” by XCEL is without a doubt one of those.
Back in 1986 the band from Port Neches and Nederland, TX, US, released a full-length album that can only be described as “one of a kind”. The enigmatic, emotional songwriting, the outstanding vocal performances, the heavenly guitar parts and the overall song structures starting from a melodic heavy metal basis and evolving to an almost progressive direction, make this record one of the finest examples of US Metal art.
Through the years the original pressing of the “Deliver this Dream” on vinyl became one of the most sought-after items for the metal collectors worldwide. In 2013 Arkeyn Steel Records released the album on CD including two bonus tracks from the 1987 “The Last Ride of Ichabod Crane” promo 7″.
In 2026, we are celebrating the 40th anniversary of this masterpiece: Arkeyn Steel Records and Cult Metal Classics are releasing “Deliver this Dream” on vinyl for the very first time after its original 80s pressing!
This vinyl edition features remixed and remastered audio, the two 7″ bonus tracks plus, photos, lyrics and liner notes including the band’s story.
One of the most legendary US Metal albums is finally available again on vinyl, on an edition that does justice to its artistic and historical value! Get ready to deliver this dream! Once again!
The reissue comes with remastered sound in a deluxe 350gsm sleeve, 180gr vinyl, 2 page insert and black polyline inner sleeve.

b) Red Vinyl (Limited to 100 hand-numbered copies with a sticker!)
