Formed in London 1979, throughout the early 80s XERO were at the forefront of New Wave of British Heavy Metal, headlining the Marquee Club, festivals in Spain, Germany and gigging up to 6 nights a week in London! Tommy Vance who hosted live sessions of top NWOBHM bands such as Iron Maiden and Saxon on BBC Radio 1, quoted XERO as being the best live band he’d had on the show, so they did it 3 times!
